Not for everybody. Perfect for some.

Will it fit my needs?

This is a completely new type of sibling board for the modern urban family. Even if it was designed to be perfect for many, it might not suite everybody.

The board is for parents who want their kids to walk as much as possible themselves, but sometimes need a helping hand. It’s the perfect tool for getting from A to B and its super easy to use and turn.

However, it does not do as well navigating inside tight shops or reversing (unless you’re a certified double trailer truck driver, which most probably… you’re not).

Furthermore, it’s designed for urban environments and rides smoothly up curbs but doesn’t like forest trails or other off-road activities.

This product is not suitable for running or skating.

Will it fit my pram?

In order to use the prepello sibling board your pram/stroller needs to fulfil a few simple criteria:

  • There needs to be a sturdy attachment point that can take the extra load of the sibling (20kg) without bending, breaking or in any other way jeopardizing the safety of child or pram. Typically, this point will be the rear wheel axle of the pram.

  • The attachment point must be suitable to hold a 20 mm wide nylon strap and have completely free clearance underneath of min 70 mm and max 300 mm.

  • The attachment point shall not be further back than the rear wheel axle due to tipping risk.

  • When attached, the product must not interfere with any breaking device.

  • When attached, the product shall have some clearance to the wheels to allow for appropriate turning.

  • Umbrella type folding strollers are generally not compatible with this product.

Will it suit my kids?

Nobody knows your child better than you! Children’s development varies, and therefore it’s difficult to define the perfect age.

Your child needs to be able to balance by themselves and securely hold onto the pram handles or bassinet. If you are unsure, we believe the common three-wheeled scooter/kick-bike for toddlers serves well as good benchmark comparison. If your child can (or you feel confident he/she could) ride one of those, he/she will most likely enjoy riding the prepello sibling board.

Suitable age is usually between 2-5 years old and a defined max weight of 20 kg.
